My first image is one that Mark took and I post-processed. In addition to being an incredible, father, husband, son, brother, teacher, mentor, coach…, Mark was also a remarkable student. He knew how important photography was to me and he supported me in my creative endeavors every step of the way in every way possible. I was usually the one behind the lens, but on rare occasions, like this one, the night before Cecilia Ray was born, Mark became my photography student so that he could capture me with our children. His patience and devotion to me was such a gift, as are images like this one, which I will treasure forever.
